Yes - A visa is required for travel to Burkina Faso

A valid passport and tourist visa are required for missionary travel to Burkina Faso.


Passport Requirements:

Original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay in Burkina Faso, with at least one blank passport page available for Burkina Faso visa stamp. Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for Burkina Faso visas.


Burkina Faso Visa Application Form:

Two Burkina Faso visa application forms. After placing your order, fill out the application forms included in your Visa Application Kit.


Photo Requirements:

Two recent, identical, 2 x 2 passport photographs, in color, front view and with a plain/light background.


Medical Requirements:

International certificate of vaccination against yellow fever.


Special Instructions:

Be aware that photographing airports, military barracks and the vicinity of government offices is a violation of law.
